If you haven’t yet guessed it, I’m not really one for making up my own fun crafts and activities to go with our lessons. It takes too much thought and planning – much more than I have. So, I do what any lazy homeschooling mom would do, look to others! I typically browse around other creative homeschooling sites, or the Educents websites looking for freebies or practically freebies. I’m particularly interested in those activities and crafts which reinforce what we are learning.
I found this winter inspired addition and subtraction reinforcement activity that the kids loved! It’s color by number activity. As you see, you solve the addition and subtraction problems, and then color according to the color key on the top. This activity meets all of my requirements…it’s fun, simple, and involves little or no preparation!
For us, it was a great Friday activity!
