Homeschool Link Up – Week 12

Homeschool Link-Up

Good morning homeschoolers, educators, teachers, friends, family and whomever I’ve missed.

Welcome to the 11th homeschool link up hosted by Unschooling Momma and Moi. I must admit that I am very happy to see you all here.  We had a set of great posts last week.  Make sure you stop by and read some here.  Lots of great unit studies, games and more!

The purpose of this link up is to provide fellow homeschoolers, past homeschoolers, eduction buffs, want to be homeschoolers, parents who want to supplement, or whomever – with a variety of fantastic educational resources. Feel free to link up to 3 education posts. We would love to hear about educational projects, crafts, schedules, curriculum, alternative learning ideas – whatever you like that has to do with the education of our children. Feel free to be creative!

This link-up is broad for education. If you have an education related giveaway or education related deals and freebies, please link them up.

Here are a few guidelines…

  • Link up any education related post or resources or homeschool project or post – old or new. We will pin our favorites to our homeschool Pinterest board.
  • Let your imagination soar. If you are not a homeschooler and have a craft or project that you might think homeschoolers would benefit from – link up.
  • If you link-up an old “deals” please make sure they are still valid at the time of linking.
  • When linking up, please tweet about the link-up to help us grow.

  • When you tweet, please use #homeschoollinkup
  • Grab a button and place it in your sidebar and help us grow!
  • Enjoy the posts of your fellow homeschoolers and education experts!

This weeks feature is Teach Beside Me – Written by Karyn

Teach Beside Me is a fantastic resource for all homeschooling families.  I love Karyn’s blog because it offers excellent unit studies which will work for all homeschoolers.  She also offers yummy recipes, great crafts for all kids (especially homeschoolers), great reviews and more!   It’s a blog that truly has it all.

Definitely check out Karyn’s blog.  Just click on the link and it will take you directly to the post she linked up last week.  Just hit the home button for her latest posts.

The #homeschoollinkup Affiliate ID Program

Keisha and I were discussing ways in which we could support our hoppers more. Keisha came up with a fabulous idea. We want to create a list of Affiliate IDs for everyone who has them. We will make it readily available to hoppers as well as other homeschoolers. If something needed to be purchased from Educents, Amazon, Sonlight, Abeka or wherever, we would use other affiliate ID’s – and support the efforts of others in the link-up. Of course, if you don’t have affiliations, you can still support others.  I will have the ebook ready to download next week.  Wanted to post this sign up one more week.   If you are interested in participating in this program, please fill out the google doc form embedded here. I (Lisa) will be in charge for maintaining the book, so if there are any questions/changes, please email me at lisa {at}
