Life without coffee: Choosing happiness over stress

I felt a kinship with this author.  I happen to not like coffee and live a life without coffee.

Can you imagine a life without coffee?  How would you deal with the stress of life?  Dr. Afiniki Akanet has chosen to live a life without coffee and manages just fine!  She has learned how to manage herself and stay efficient – sans caffeine.   In Life Without Coffee, she teaches us how.

On a personal level, I have learned a lot from this book.  In fact, I studied it by reading it multiple times and thinking deeply about what is said.

It’s a quick read but offers insight in all areas of life.

I found this to be very true, and something I didn’t think about everyday.  We must flush out anything and anybody who impedes our progress and instead, replace them with the people and things that make us grow and development.  We need to do this in order to get out of life what we need and want.

I actually took this to heart, and began implementing these ideas and have come out more positive and have seen more successful outcomes as a result.

One way I have implemented this idea is by surrounding myself by like-minded people.  When I surround myself with like-minded people, I find that I am happiest.  This includes my friends, where I live, and in my business.

Go where you are appreciated and not tolerated.  Life is too short.  It’s not about fear.  It’s about feeling free…being able to breathe…exhaling.

I no longer fear new things.  I think my weight loss journey helped me develop this way.  It’s very scary to make changes, but what I have found is also what Dr. Afiniki Akanet found, that when we keep our minds open to learning and change, we come out better than we started.  Always.

I am a better person now than I was 3-years ago.  I have developed this person through learning and trying new things.  I did not relent to fear.  Fear paralyzes you and impedes your progress.  With some forethought and planning, I jumped in with two feet, and now I am 160 lbs. down and the happiest and healthiest I have ever been in my life.

I am in total control of myself and my weight.  It’s no longer will I gain it back, it’s how far can I go?  How much fitter can I be?

The education I gave myself and continue to give myself will keep me from gaining it back.  I am living a life without fear.

It’s not really that hard.  What you find is that in many instances, the coffee will hold you back from reaching your full potential.
