Have you ever heard of excellent quality photo albums made directly from your Camera Roll on your iPad, iPhone or iPod Touch?  Now, your collection of unique and spontaneous shots can be preserved forever!

Better yet, the album can go right on your key chain, the perfect size to carry everywhere and fit in your pocket.

That’s just one thing that a new great app, Photos2Books does.
App:  Photos2Books

Platform:  iPad, iPhone, iPod Touch with iOS 4.3 or later

Cost:  Free from the App Store

Review:  I was so happy that I was able to review this product.  Specifically because I live in DC, and my family lives in Minnesota and my husband’s family lives in Texas.  Unfortunately with 3 kids – with costs and logistics – we do not have the opportunity to travel home often.  However, Photos2Books gave me the opportunity to create beautiful high quality photo albums from my iPod Touch, affordably, that I can share with family and friends far away.

The Photos2Books app is incredibly easy to use – and fast.  I just did a simple search from the app store and found it.  Once it’s downloaded, it’s ready to use.

Photos2Books offers two sizes.

  • A key chain album which is the perfect size to attach to your key chain and take everywhere.
  • A Mini album, bigger than the key chain, but perfect for your pocket.  It’s nice, trim and slim.

You would think that the album would be destroyed after carrying it around in your pocket or on your key chain.  No.  These pictures were taken after using the albums regularly, on a daily basis for more than 3 weeks.  that key chain book went everywhere with us.   It has been dropped, stepped on, in the baby’s mouth and scrunched in the couch.  It is well used and baby tested.

They still look brand new!

When you set up your album in the Photos2Books app, you can choose your album size and album color.  The app allows for manipulation of your pictures.  You can opt for panoramas (pictures across two pages), different pictures sizes and picture rotations – all at your fingertips.  There is a lot of room for customization.

Once you complete your album, just check out and press submit – and voila!

Shipping is fast and at only $2.95 – very affordable!

This apps allows us to make albums from very unique and spontaneous pictures when we do not have your DSLR or digital camera.  And if I forget the camera (which I do on a regular basis), no need to worry.  I can still make high quality prints.  Plus, it allows us to make special and affordable gifts for a family near and far!

My husband and daughter love the albums so much – they took mine!

With the easy of use, durability, customization of colors, ease of picture manipulation, and affordability – I give this app 5 stars.

  1. Seems like a great app and perfect for those who have family far away and want to send them a keepsake, my only problem is my iPad and iPod don’t take as nice pics as my Galaxy S4. I only wish they had it for Android as well then this would have been perfect!

  2. I would make this for my husband because he is on the road more than home.
