I love smoothies – even in the winter. You can do so much with them, and make them whatever you like. Plus, they are delicious.
Strawberry-banana has always been my favorite. Here is a Strawberry-banana smoothie recipe with a twist.
I find it difficult to get all of my veggies in during the day. So, I always include some greens in my smoothie. It doesn’t add or take away from the flavor, and I have 1-2 veggies down before 9 AM!
Strawberry-Banana Green Smoothie
Ingredients
- 30 strawberries (the size of a quart package)
- 1 large banana
- 1-2 handfuls of spinach
- 1/2 cup plain greek yogurt
- 1 cup milk
- 3 Tbsp Honey
- 6 Tbsp Flax Seed Meal
- 1 cup ice
3 servings.
Instructions
Just put it all in a food processor or blender and mix!
It’s so easy, so delicious, so healthy and totally kid-approved! My kids LOVE it, and baby even weighs in and thinks it’s delicious.
