Strawberry-Banana Green Smoothie Recipe

Strawberry-banana green smoothie #recipe #cleaneats

I love smoothies – even in the winter.  You can do so much with them, and make them whatever you like. Plus, they are delicious.

Strawberry-banana has always been my favorite.  Here is a Strawberry-banana smoothie recipe with a twist.

I find it difficult to get all of my veggies in during the day.  So, I always include some greens in my smoothie.  It doesn’t add or take away from the flavor, and I have 1-2 veggies down before 9 AM!

  1. 30 strawberries (the size of a quart package)
  2. 1 large banana
  3. 1-2 handfuls of spinach
  4. 1/2 cup plain greek yogurt
  5. 1 cup milk
  6. 3 Tbsp Honey
  7. 6 Tbsp Flax Seed Meal
  8. 1 cup ice

3 servings.

Just put it all in a food processor or blender and mix!

It’s so easy, so delicious, so healthy and totally kid-approved!  My kids LOVE it, and baby even weighs in and thinks it’s delicious.

Here is a delicious way for your kids to have a high protein breakfast, perfect before school – and get some veggies in!

And great for homeschooling mamas, who don’t have a lot of time to prepare a healthy breakfast.  It truly is “put it all in” and go!
