Textbook Rentals

Classes will dull your mind, destroy the potential for authentic creativity

~Russel Crowe as Dr. John Nash

I spent many years buying textbooks in college and graduate school.  So many years, I dare not count.  Oh yeah!

In fact, I still have all my college books – here-sitting in bookshelves collecting dust.  Organic Chemistry, Cellular Biology, French, Inorganic Chemistry, Linear Algebra, and Italian are just a few of the many titles.  What am I going to do with all of these textbooks?  I’m not even going to begin to tell you how old they are (for fear of dating myself), but lets just say, that science and math textbooks don’t remain relevant for very long.  With rapid growth, we are always learning and developing and we are continually blessed with new knowledge.  Needless to say, those textbooks sitting on my shelves are quite out of date.

I don’t even want to think about how much money I spent – accounting for the meager amount I got for selling the books back to the bookstore.

This is why I am so excited to tell you about Campus Book Rentals.  I think it’s such an awesome idea!  Renting your textbooks – that you can mark in – use, and then return.  Isn’t that totally awesome?  I wish they had  this in my day.  You choose the texts, you choose the rental period, you order- and they ship to your door.  Such a great idea – and savings of up to 80% of the cost of buying the books at the bookstore (that will then sit on your shelf) – AMAZING.   Totally worth it!

What college student doesn’t need more money in their pocket and leave less money at the college bookstore?

Plus, they donate money from each and every book rental to Operation Smile –  the largest volunteer-based medical charity providing free cleft surgeries.  They will help over 1,000 Children this year.

Take a look at this bit of textbook rental awesomeness!

This is really a sweet deal.  To make it even sweeter, they have a rent back program.

Who needs more money?

Yep, when you are done with your books, you send them back and Campus Book Rentals will rent them to another student – making you money!

So, who wants to try this?

I am 100% for education and improving ones self.  Because of that – instead of accepting money for this post, Campus Book Rentals is going to provide a $50.00 Gift Certificate to the winner of my giveaway.  If you are in college, this Gift Certificate will be invaluable.  If you are not in college, I need your help in spreading the word.  If you can, just direct them here!
