Thanksgiving Day/ Fall Activities with Free Printable

I have prepared a Thanksgiving/Fall activity packet.  I thought it might be a good thing to occupy the kids while on the plane, or on Thanksgiving day – while the adults are cooking.  Ava has completed some of the activities (some we are waiting for Thanksgiving Day) and put them in her lapbook.

Yep, the kids are working on a Thanksgiving lapbook.  It’s incredible because I didn’t know what a lapbook was until just a few weeks ago.

Anywho, these are just two of the activities included.  In the first picture, your child is supposed to find and color the 10 missing maple leaves.  Then after, they can color the picture.  The second activity is  color by number.  Also included is a word search, patterning exercises, counting, coloring and more! I have also included a few online video suggestions – fun ways to learn about Thanksgiving – and help the kids get into the spirit of the holiday.

The activities are intended for preschoolers and lower elementary children who are just learning how to read and write.

I hope everyone has safe travels and happy children where ever life may lead.
