The Value of Free Resources Plus Tot School Color Matching Bingo Game Subscriber Freebie

subscriber freebie #totschool color matching bingo game #freebie

We have really found that free resources online have helped our homeschool dramatically.  Seriously.  It helps not only to learn new things, but reinforce lessons and ideas that we have already learned.  It really helps to see things in a different way.  Plus, my older son can help to teach the youngers, which reinforces ideas as well!  I find free resources to be extremely valuable to my children’s education.
If they are games, even better!

My son Grayson loves this color matching game.  He wants to play it again and again.  I think his favorite thing is throwing the dice cube around, but he does feel accomplished when he can match the colors.

The other two like playing it with him, even though they have known their colors for years!

This is designed to be an oral activity.

  1. After the dice cube is thrown, your toddler is to say the color that he/she sees.
  2. Then he/she is to pick the matching color and say the word.
  3. Then he/she is to match the color with the color on his/her bingo board and say it one more time.
  4. Your toddler will win – depending upon your rules.  It could be 3-in-a-row, or cover the full board, whatever you would like.

Of course, you can change this game to fit your needs and child.  Grayson like to make up his own way to play.  We have used crackers as chips.  Whatever floats your child’s boat!
