  • Autism is the fastest growing developmental disability
  • Autism receives less than 5% of the research funding of many less prevalent childhood diseases
  • Of the total 2012 NIH Budget of 30.86 billion dollars, 169 million dollars goes to Autism research (0.55% of total NIH funding)
