Woot! Blog Shout Out for the Week of April 15th

Print hand calendar

E is For Explore

I love these blog shout-outs because it gives me the chance to recognize others for their awesome contributions!

Crafts

  1. This contact paper and tissue paper wall art is great from Mama Smiles.  It’s fun and EASY (you know how much I love easy).  If you put it on a window – what a room with a view!  I love this idea!
  2. This DIY photo block pencil holder is really super cute from Kara of The Joys of Boys.  I am always loosing our pencils for school.  I just have them in a McDonald’s bucket (one of those ones you get at Halloween).  Maybe if I put them into something like this – that we could make together – they wouldn’t touch.  Sheesh!
  3. Kid hand calendar from E is for Explore.    Cute!

Child Literacy

  1. Science Fiction for young and struggling kids by Family Focus Blog.  Much of the science fiction is for older kids.  Here is an option to introduce it to the younger reader!
  2. Celebrate Earth Day with Books by Jenny Evolution.  There are some great suggestions.
  3. For the olders, make poetry fun with Novels in Verse by Pragmatic Mom.  What a great idea!

I hope you can find this useful.  I think all the ideas are awesome!
