Bookworm Bundle Subscription Boxes for Children ages 2-5 – Review and Giveaway

I received a Bookworm Bundle subscription box in exchange for an honest review.  All of the opinions stated herein are 100% my own.

Bookworm Bundle - Stone Soup

Have you heard of Stone Soup?  Yes, there is an actual stone cooked in the soup.  This is the book we received in our Bookworm Bundle kit , along with a kit to grow our own vegetables and a recipe to make our own stone soup!

Soup made from a stone?  Fancy that!

So, when we received the package, the kids were so excited to break open the box and try everything out.

Bookworm Bundle Subscription Box

In our kit was…

  1. A white clay pot to decorate
  2. 6 different seeds to grow (cabbage, peas, tomatoes, carrots, onions, and beans).
  3. Soil
  4. Markers to decorate so we knew which seeds were plated into which pots.
  5. A brand new copy of the book of the month (Stone Soup)
  6. A recipe book – to write down the recipes that we make with the vegetables we grow.
  7. A recipe for stone soup and other informational cards (so we know how to plant our vegetables).
  8. Paint, glue, crayons, scissors, and a paintbrush.
  9. A Bookworm Bundles Rewards magnet.

This kit was tailored for my 5 year-old and was absolutely perfect for us.  We have been working on becoming more sustainable, growing more of our own food, and canning.  We were very excited to break this open and start plating.

The kids had so much fun decorating the pot and markers.

Having fun with bookworm Bundle

I found a few extra small pots around the house to paint.  They also drew the vegetables on the markers.  They are very excited to see the vegetables come up – so we can plant them outside in the spring!

You know the best part of this is that I didn’t have to think.  It is all so easy.  All the thinking has been done.  No need to go to the store and buy all the ingredients, search for the book on Amazon and all that.  All you have to do is open the box, and enjoy having fun with your kids.  What’s better than that?  They even had a little messy/parental involvement calculator right on the package.  I really appreciated this being that I don’t like doing crafts.  I don’t like the mess.  So, with the calculator, I can just save the messier projects to when I have time – or I dedicate the entire day to a craft.

You can start your Bookworm Bundle Subscription here.  There are a lot of options to meet your budget requirements.
