Review – Kidecals custom labels

I received Kidecals labels in exchange for an honest review. All the opinions expressed herein are 100% my own.

Kidecals

Have you heard of Kidecals?  Kidecals is a woman owned company that offers highly durable labels.  You can put them on anything – including fabric – wash, wear and wash again – and the label will still be stuck.  It’s incredible – and such a novel idea.

Go to their website.  There are literally hundreds of designs and purposes – at least one of which I am sure will fit your needs.

Here is how we used and loved our Kidecals…

  • On electronics.  My kids were born to misplace their stuff.  I guess the apples don’t fall far from the tree – because I am very guilty of this myself.  I put something down – and am thinking about other things – I just can’t remember.  Once, a Nintendo DS was left at our local grocery store.  Lucky, we found it- but it was difficult to remember where we had been a week later.  Insert Kidecals.  You have a beautiful high quality label with the child’s name and phone number.  If someone finds it and they are honest, they can call the phone number – and you have your lost item back.

  • It’s winter – on coats, mittens, boots, backpacks, pants, underwear – anything that the kids take off at school, preschool, restaurants, daycare, church, playdates, etc.  It’s really easy to know who it belongs to so there is no worrying about items going home with someone else.  In this picture, the label is stuck right onto the fabric of this raincoat.  It’ stuck for good.  My son tried to get it off and couldn’t.

  • Return address labels.  My husband really loved to use these as return address labels.  It’s a unique look to the traditional label.

There are tons of uses, including canning labels, keyboard labels to enhance your computer and make it more fun, and even waterproof custom names labels which are great for school, daycare, camp, organizing, and travel. And much much more!

Why we love our Kidecals

  • They stay stuck.  What’s worse than a sticker that comes off right away?  It’s a waste of money.  Kidecals stay stuck.  My toddler son did the ultimate test.  As I was labeling everything under the sun, he was trying to take them off.  He couldn’t and gave up.

  • They withstand the beatings of a 5-year-old.  In fact, I did a little experiment.  I placed a sticker on my 5-year-olds sweatshirt.  Then I beat it, crumpled it up and washed it.  Check out the label before and after washing.

Before and after

Awesome!  They are of high quality.

  • They have a lot of designs and styles that fit my family and their different personalities.  Grayson is a toddler so we got him something cute.  Ava is a 5 year-old-diva into barbies, so we got her a diva label.  Hadyn wanted an emblem, so we got something that looked like a fancy emblem.  For the parents, it was the elegant and unique labels that we are using for return address labels.

When I think about the companies that I want to support and represent with this blog, Kidecals is at the very top of my list.  The product is of very high quality, the labels are worth the money, it a woman/mom-owned business – and the product stands up to what they say.  More importantly, the labels meet my high standards and stand up to my little monsters.
